Currently the US embargo on Cuba is currently stopping the Indian companies to send medicines and development-related equipments and product to the Caribbean island nations, according to the Secretory General Antonio Guterres.
In his annual report which was submitted in the General Assembly on the US embargo on Cuba he said that the SBI which is the national bank of India along with some other banks at least 4 banks have refused to carry out the transactions to enable the companies to increase in that country.

“It has been impossible to fulfil the payment to the supplier and the implementation of the project has been delayed.”
