Air Pollution May Induce Our Kidney Damage Too Apart From Respiratory Infections: Research Study

Generally we know that air pollution induces respiratory damage but now researcher identifies that air pollution may damage our kidneys damage too. The concern research recently appears in Journal of the American Society of Nephrology (JASN).

Air pollution is now become one of most serious problem in China and under researcher investigation the researcher made analysis on data of Kidney Biopsies of 71,151 patients from 938 hospitals in 282 cities of China from about 11 years .

At the result researcher found that likelihood of developing membranous nephropathy, an immune disorder of the kidneys that can lead to kidney failure, increased 13% annually over the 11-year study period, whereas the proportions of other major kidney conditions remained stable. According to Researcher, "Our primary finding is that the frequency of membranous nephropathy has doubled over the last decade in China. We show that the increase corresponds closely with the regional distribution of particulate air pollution," said Dr. Hou
