Researcher from McGill University uncovered a new health mystery which suggests stimulation body cells to burn extra body fat which in turn play an important role to fight against Diabetes, Obesity and many Cardiovascular Disorders.
The concern study recently appears in journal Genes & Development and Researchers targeted a protein named folliculin mainly involve regulating the activity of fat cells. Through an experiment in mice researchers detected by controlling the activity of gene responsible for folliculin activity they triggered series of bimolecular signals that switched the cells from storing fat to burning it.
"Conversion from white fat cells to beige or brown fat cells is a very desirable effect in the obesity, diabetes, and metabolic syndrome indications, since excess energy in the body is not stored in fat tissue but is burned in brown or beige fat tissue," said professor Arnim Pause, the study's senior author.
