Robots will serve nourishment and offer medication to COVID-19 patients in two emergency clinics in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum locale from Tuesday, in a stage to shield specialists and wellbeing laborers from getting tainted with coronavirus.
Created by District Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) Aditya Ranjan, the remote-controlled COBOT-Robotics will give nourishment and medication to patients without human mediation, an official discharge said.
The 20 and 30-bed ‘cutting edge segregation wards’ will be introduced at the ANM Skill Center, Chaibasa Sadar Hospital and COVID-19 Railway Hospital, Chakradharpur individually on Tuesday, it said.
“Each bed has been planned like a room where medication and nourishment will be given to patients through COBOT-Robotics.
This is the first-of-its sort activity in the nation,” the discharge stated, citing the DDC.
A group of specialists, under the supervision of the DDC, planned and customized COBOT-Robotics in a carport in Ranjan’s living arrangement, the discharge said.
The DDC had before planned a stall to ensure wellbeing laborers gathering tests of people suspected to be contaminated with coronavirus, it included.
