The Japanese government has abandoned favoring Fujifilm Holdings Corp’s Avigan sedate for the treatment of COVID-19 before the finish of May, Kyodo News announced late on Monday.

Head administrator Shinzo Abe had said not long ago he trusted the medication would be affirmed at some point in May if its viability and security could be affirmed.
