Here is how to safely administer ciprofloxacin eye drops step by step:

Have Clean Hands:

  1. Wash your hands with water and soap thoroughly before putting any bacteria into the eye so as to reduce the risk of contamination.

Prepare the Eye Drops:

  1. Ensure that the ciprofloxacin eye drop bottle is shaken gently so that medication gets mixed up properly.

Position Yourself:

  1. Use your left hand gently pull down on your lower eyelid creating a small pocket between it and eyeball.

  1. With your head tilted back; place dropper over eye.
