Total Organic Carbon (TOC) is of importance in industries like pharmaceuticals, environmental monitoring, and water treatment.
Total Organic Carbon (TOC) tells us how much organic matter is available in a given sample in the form of carbon. It can be as simple as carbon compounds or complex as proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. TOC measures the organic content of water, soil, air, and any other matter.
