This magnetic stirrer is a warming and maintenance-free device with 4 stirring points, each with a large surface area that can handle stirring volumes of up to 5,000 mL per point, making it suitable for viscous culture media.
The maintenance-free 2mag-stepper-motor-drive provides extremely slow and 100% jerk-free and gentle mixing of cell cultures, with an extended speed range from 5 to 250 rpm, ensuring jerk-free, even, and smooth stirring even at slow speeds.
This makes it ideal for culture flasks with spinning propeller and spinning ball systems.
The stirrer features a fully encapsulated and hermetically closed stainless steel housing, making it water-, dust-, and germ-proof. It’s extremely robust construction and performance ensure easy cleaning and maximum firmness, and it can be submerged in water baths.
