    ABOUT SPEAKER

    Dr.-Ing. Axel Besa,Ph.D. in Engineering and Diplom (M.Sc.) in Chemistry

    Axel started early 2002 as ‘Application Support Specialist’ for small molecule applications on QTOF and triple quad instruments at AB SCIEX, known as Applied Biosystems that time, and was appointed to ‘Team Leader Central Europe Pharma Support’ group in 2005.

    In 2008 he successfully applied for the position as ‘European Application Lead’ for pharma drug metabolite identification, metabolomics and lipidomics and was promoted to ‘EMEAI Manager Applications for Pharma, Metabolomics and Lipidomics’ in 2011.

    A unique chance to move into sales organization opened in 2013 and he became ‘Sales Representative’ for Germany’s north-west region.

    He finally combined his technical, applicational and sales knowledges and experiences in the role of ‘Manager Business Development DACH’ in 2017.

    In late 2019 Axel was asked to take the EMEAI responsibility for the Echo MS System and became the ‘EMEAI Product Lead for ECHO MS System’.
